Is too much talking or preaching on the word of God a good impression to hearers?

If I talked too much about repentance, salvation, goodness. No one would say against it, in fact, too much of it will be viewed or impressed as like, the one who keeps talking about it is really Godly and has a good heart.

But, If I talked too much about tithing, I will be viewed as like only after for money, greedy or something.

Why is that? Is not both of them came from the word of God if anything, too much of the word of God is good but why is the latter has an opposite impression than the other?

Answer:

Because the first one is really from the word of God and the 2nd is from the word of God also but twisted and is actually already a word from a man. That is why, in most churches, they avoid talking about tithing or emphasized on it too much because the 1st timer churchgoer and even the congregant might be turned off.
