A guide for a Tither to win in an argument with a non-Tither believer.

Me: If you happen to know a levite today, do you think he would still be qualified to receive and perform the offering rituals i.e burnt offering, peace offering as commanded to them in old testament including the receiving of tithes as their inheritance according to the bible?

Tither: No, because Hebrews 7:11-13 says

“Therefore, if perfection were through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need was there that another priest should rise according to the order of Melchizedek, and not be called according to the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law. For He of whom these things are spoken belongs to another tribe, from which no man has officiated at the altar.”

They were already changed therefore, even if a levite today does the offering rituals, it would be of no spiritual value or futile.

Me: So, since Levites was already changed hence, should not do the ritual offering anymore including the receiving of their tithes inheritance, why is their who claim to be spiritually levites collect tithes when the original levites is not or should not collect it already?

Tither: Because Christian have higher priesthood than Levites. We are under Melchizedek priesthood and, Melchizedek collected tithes even before the law.

Me: So, it was Melchizedek who collected tithes and you say, your priesthood is under Melchizedek not of the same as Melchizedek right? Who give you the authority then to collect tithing when you are under or beneath the priesthood of the one who collected it before the law? Can a servant act in behalf of the master without the master permission? Gehazi did it but look what happened to him in 2 Kings 5:20-27

Tither:……Ah, you’ll never understand because you have no holy spirit, you lack understanding.

Thinking is difficult, that’s why most people judge.
