His NAME shall be called Immanuel and Everlasting Father

“Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His NAME Immanuel.” Isaiah 7:14 NKJV

“For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His NAME will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6 NKJV

The subject of the two verses is the name. The name will be the one to be called Immanuel and Everlasting Father.

In analogy, there is a difference when I say;

Your name is beautiful – Here, my subject is the name, it does not necessarily refer to the person

You are beautiful – Here, the subject is the person itself.

What is so significant with the name that it was called Immanuel meaning, God is with us and Everlasting Father?

Answer: Because the name given to Mary’s son is the name of His Father as confessed by Christ Himself while talking to His Father.

“I’m no longer in the world, but they are in the world, even as I’m coming to you. Holy Father, watch over them in your name, the name you gave me, that they will be one just as we are one.” John 17:11 CEB

Therefore, Jesus is God because it is the Father’s name given to His son to make it known. But, the Father is not the Son nor the Son is the Father. They only shared one name- Jesus so that, when you know the Son, you know the Father. When you call the name of the Son, you call the Father.

If you think Jesus is only Son’s name. Sorry to say, you’ve been fooled and scammed.
