Did God give His Preferred Name in the Old Testament?

Truth be told, the Bible is not clear what type of name was given to Moses. Most assumed it to be personal but the bible actually is silent on what type of name was given. Names have many types, see here i.e. Personal/Title/Alias/Middle name/Last name, etc. Perhaps, Israel thought the same that they had received the most preferred name of God and so, to them, Jesus was blasphemous but, it seems they didn’t really know God’s preferred name as implied in the below verse. Otherwise, if they knew the preferred name of God, why would Christ still declare the Father’s name to them when they knew it already?

“O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”John‬ ‭17:25-26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

It was only made known to them when the Christ came and it was the name He carries.

I have come in my Father’s name, and you don’t receive me. If others come in their own name, you receive them.”John‬ ‭5:43‬ ‭CEB‬‬

“I’m no longer in the world, but they are in the world, even as I’m coming to you. Holy Father, watch over them in YOUR name, the name you gave me, that they will be one just as we are one. When I was with them, I watched over them in YOUR name, the name you gave to me, and I kept them safe. None of them were lost, except the one who was destined for destruction, so that scripture would be fulfilled.”John‬ ‭17:11-12‬ ‭CEB‬‬

Jesus is the name that the Son Carries.
