Have Faith as a Mustard Seed

“So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew‬ ‭17:20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

What does the verse above mean?

Let’s analyze:

Mustard seed though small can grow to a great height. What the verse is trying to imply is that, no matter how you feel insignificant in this world like a mustard seed, if you just have faith or a strong belief in God, yourself and in all the things that you do and wish to happen, you can achieve it.

In secular terms, this is also called the law of attraction it is the ability to attract into our lives whatever we are focusing on. It is believed that regardless of age, nationality or religious belief, we are all susceptible to the laws which govern the Universe, including the Law of Attraction. It is the Law of Attraction which uses the power of the mind to translate whatever is in our thoughts and materialize them into reality. In basic terms, all thoughts turn into things eventually. If you focus on negative doom and gloom you will remain under that cloud. If you focus on positive thoughts and have goals that you aim to achieve, you will find a way to achieve them with massive action.

This law was placed in the universe by God since the beginning of time and no matter who you are, how small you feel like, if you just believe strongly or have faith that whatever you set in your mind will happen, it probably will.

Like the black mustard seed which has the potential to grow to over ten feet in height. A man really has the same potential to achieve great things but, one must have that strong belief in God who made the law, to himself and to the things he does.
