Praying is both thanksgiving and asking something from God.
The question is, on whose name do you pray?
a.) Is it in the name of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit?
b.) Or, is it in the name of the Son.
The answer is the verse below:
“I will do whatever you ask for in my name, so that the Father can be glorified in the Son. When you ask me for anything in my name, I will do it.”John 14:13-14 CEB
Why is asking in the name of the Son which is Jesus glorified the Father in the Son?
Answer: Because the name of Father is in the Son, by asking through the name of the Son, you also ask the Father.
This was prophesied a long time ago that the name will be one.
“The LORD will become king over all the land. On that day the LORD will be one, and the LORD’s name will be one.”Zechariah 14:9 CEB
