1.) God has no knees but has other parts of the body i.e ass, hand, finger, etc.
Their above belief stems from the verse below:
“Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,” Philippians 2:9-10 NKJV
Because the Father or God should and will never kneel down to the name Jesus which is above all names, they remove the knee so that God is not able to kneel down. While this solves the conflict that God will now not kneel to the name Jesus because He has no knee, this is an outrageous and simpleton solution or explanation. It would have been acceptable if they remove all parts of the body for, after all, God is Spirit and Spirit has no flesh and bones hence, no form and invisible therefore cannot kneel.
Also, there is a verse in the bible that the Christ Himself admits that the name given to Him which is Jesus in Matt 1:21 was His Father’s name which follows that the Father will not kneel down to His own name.

2.) Women in their congregation are not allowed to cut their hair.
The above belief stems from the verse below:
“Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him? But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her; for her hair is given to her for a covering. But if anyone seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, nor do the churches of God.”I Corinthians 11:14-16 NKJV
In their belief, they believe that “long” hair is covering but if you read the verse, it only says that her hair is covering since the one that needs to cover is the head, obviously, the hair need not be long for the purpose of covering the head because the head does not extend down until the knee. It is, however, glory for a woman if she has long hair but again, in terms of head covering, it does not need to be long.
Because of their misunderstanding and adding a word that the verse did not say, long hair becomes covering and since their understanding of the word “nature” is something that happens to the physical world naturally like the sunrise at the east, the birds fly, the wind blows, etc. In their belief, like the sun that rise in the east and set in the west, a woman should just let their hair grows naturally without cutting it but actually, the “nature” was not used in the context of their understanding because, by nature, men’s hair also grows naturally the same as the women yet, the verse says that by nature, it is shameful to a man for having a long hair. If “nature” was used to mean the natural things that happen in the world, by nature, men’s hair should also not be cut off.
Obviously, “nature” was used to mean the natural that was happening in their culture or the cultural/social norm in the society at that time. In the eyes of the society where Paul was at that time, it was by nature shameful for a man to have long hair and it was glory for a woman to have long hair and it should be covered. Even Paul acknowledged that it was a custom, he further said that to anyone who is contentious or wants to argue about this, don’t waste your time for, after all, the church of God has no such custom. But, they made the custom which was supposedly adaptable and can change through time a doctrine, it became a dogma required for women to follow which I find ridiculous and uncalled for.
3.) They forbid to eat Chicken Joy in Jollibee.
The above belief stems from the verse below:
“that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. Farewell.” Acts 15:29 NKJV
Chicken Joy in Jollibee is halal certified. In their belief, any foods that are halal-certified should not be eaten because it was prayed to a false god. Yet, they eat pork which automatically qualifies to be halal food.
When ask to explain, they believe that halal foods are prayed food as part of Muslim law but the verse did not say that prayed foods are not allowed, it was the offered food that was not allowed. Food can be prayed to but not all foods are offering food. Certainly, halal foods are not offering foods because by right, if you offer something you don’t take it back yet, halal foods are eaten back by people who label it as halal.
In Buddhism ghost month, they offer food to ghost but no one dares to eat what has been offered, why? Because it is not right to eat foods that were offered to someone. An offering is correlated to giving willingly like offering money every time you go to church, you don’t take back what you have been offered. Halal foods are being taken back for food by those who label it to be halal, it cannot be an offering food, it’s a prayed food and the verse did not say to abstain from prayed food because it can be overridden by praying for the food to the God we believe in to be more powerful than any other gods.
As you can see, they conveniently change the verse wording from “offering” to “prayed” so that they can impose religious rules that is outrageous and uncalled for.
The above 3 teachings by MCGI are so far what I found to be outrageous. If anyone knows more outrageous teaching by them and in any other religious sect, kindly care to input. Let us expose it.
